The fine print
Privacy policy
Who we are
This site is run by Vadima Pty Ltd (ABN 91 654 458 321) trading as Talk To Sev ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit this site, apply for the 1:1 Content Workshop or book a call, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Your application: your name, email, website or Instagram handle, and your answers about your business (what best describes you, your business type and your average monthly revenue).
- Your booking: your name, email, phone number, the time you choose, and anything you tell us when you book or on the call.
- The call preparation video: if you've booked a call, whether you play the video on the confirmation page and how much of it you watch, saved against your contact record so Sev knows what you've already seen.
- How you found us: the ad or link you clicked (campaign and ad identifiers in the page address), the page you landed on and the page that referred you.
- Device and usage information: collected through cookies and similar technology, such as your browser type, approximate location, and the pages and buttons you use.
- If you become a client: your business details, invoices and payment records. Card and bank details are handled by our payment providers. We do not see or store complete card numbers.
We collect this directly from you when you fill in the application, book a call, email or message us, and automatically when you use the site. You can browse the site without telling us who you are, but we can't assess an application or book a call without your contact details.
Why we collect it
- To assess your application and work out whether the workshop fits your business.
- To book, confirm, remind you about and run your call, by email, SMS or phone.
- To deliver the workshop and support if you become a client.
- To send you content and offers we think are relevant. You can opt out at any time.
- To measure which ads and pages work, and to show our ads to the right people.
- To keep records, run our business and meet our legal obligations.
Cookies, the Meta pixel and advertising
This site uses the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel. It sets cookies and tells Meta which pages you view and whether you start an application, submit one or book a call. When you submit an application, your email and name are converted into a scrambled code (hashed) in your browser and shared with Meta, so Meta can match the visit to an account, measure our ads and show our ads to relevant people. Meta handles that information under its own data policy.
You can control ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser. The site still works without them.
Testimonial and workshop videos are YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube only sets cookies once you press play. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
This site also uses Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to see how people use it, through page stats, heatmaps and recordings of clicks and scrolling, so we can make it better. They use cookies, and Microsoft and Google handle that data under their own privacy statements.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the people and services that help us run the business:
- our CRM, calendar, email and SMS platform (HighLevel / LeadConnector);
- Meta Platforms, for ad measurement and delivery as described above;
- Google (YouTube, Google Fonts and calendar invitations);
- our website host (Vercel);
- our payment, invoicing and accounting providers, if you become a client;
- contractors and advisers who help us with marketing, sales and administration, under confidentiality obligations;
- anyone we are required by law to disclose it to.
Information held overseas
Several of these providers store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. By applying or booking a call you consent to your information being handled overseas by these providers. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers that protect it.
Marketing messages
If you apply or book a call we may email or message you about the workshop and related content. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, you can reply STOP to any SMS, or you can email us and we will take you off the list. Messages about a call you have booked are not marketing and will still be sent.
Storage, security and how long we keep it
Your information is stored with the providers above, protected by passwords, access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing sev@sevspics.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your information, email sev@sevspics.com and we will look into it and reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it took effect at the top.
